Guess Who . . .

Some one is celebrating a birthday today

Can you guess who?
We will give some hints to help you along
I'm sure you'll get it right!!!

The birthday girl - yes, it's a she - always sports an adorable hair style!

She is the Heywood Family Photography Queen. Sorry we don't have a picture of her . . .

She dominates at Word Whiz.

Some of her best friends in the world are her sisters - though she easily befriends everyone she meets.

She helps keep us all personally hygiene-ated with her cute soaps!

And, a spunkier Grandma you'll never meet!

Happy Birthday, Birthday Girl!!

Austin's Birthday!

Happy Birthday, Awesome Austin!!!

Doesn't he look like a missionary already?

Oops! Here's the missionary.

Some things that keep Austin busy:
He made a longboard with his Priest Quorum. He worked really hard and did just what he envisioned. Isn't it so cool?? He took logos off t-shirts from Youth Conference (Rock Solid), the Trek (No toil nor labor Fear), and the Priest Qourum shirt (DC 4).

The back of his longboard:

He is an ultimately intense Ultimate Frisbee player.
They play twice a week.

And last week he did his 2nd triathlon.

Swim . . .

Bike . . .

Change those shoes . . .

. . . and run

 . . . to the finish line!!!

Way to go Austin!

And lest any of you have not yet taken the opportunity to earn a prize from this energetic young man, be sure to get your prediction in before he gets his mission call.

~~~Mission Call~~~
The time has arrived that I should start asking questions... even though my mother says not to ask too many questions so close to Christmas!  So, I'll just ask one! Anywho, I have had my interviews and my mission papers are in Salt Lake's possession!  I plan to have my call in my hands by about the 18th of December, and I wish to know from each individual who has the privilege of writing on this blog to make a guess and post it! For a complete listing of current open missions got to:
http://www.mission.net/cgi-bin/mission_index.cgi?action=show_current
The closest person (geographically) to the "Best Mission in the World" will win a prize!*
*Winner must be present to redeem prize. No substitutions, No changing guesses after call has been opened, and No exceptions.**
**Ok so I might be a little lenient*** on the no exceptions rule.*
***Lenient is to mean that you change your guess if the change is made before you hear**** of my call.
****Hearing may also be interpreted as to have the opportunity***** to have heard.
*****Opportunity is defined as any person or persons****** in your immediate family having heard directly where I have been called.
******Since my mother and father will both be present when I open my call you may simply defer that all paersons reading this will have no chance to change their guess once once the moment has been reached that I read to myself or aloud to those present where I  have been called! haha It looks like I could make a wonderful legislator!... But looks can be deceiving! ;)
The passing of a Great Man!
I was saddened to realize that Elder Wirthlin passed away last night. Surprised? No. And actually happy for him. I am so thankful for his life, his devotion, and his humor.
When I was in a Primary Presidency, he came to visit our stake for Stake Conference. The Stake President, Terry Turk, had asked us to spend the few weeks prior to conference learning all we could about him so the he would be "our apostle." That exercise truly endeared him to me. I love that man. Every time he spoke in the past 10 years, I felt that somehow he belonged a little bit to me. We've had this little connection, he and I. He has spoken directly to me many times. Oh, you too?? Hmm. Well. . . today I want to say, loud and clear,
"Come what may, and Love it!!!"
