We (Francie, Kyle, Allison and Mike) are leaving tomorrow for our stake TREK activity. We know very little about the details. I guess that our pioneers ancestors knew very little about what was going to await them also. We plan on having lots of fun. Francie and I are a Ma and Pa and will have 10 or 11 children assigned to our family. We plan to take some ancestors along with us: Kyle is taking Philo Dibble, Allison is taking Sarah Wilkinson Buchanan, Francie is taking Martha Spence and I will be taking John Buchanan. We have a chance to learn about these ancestors and then to share them with our TREK families along the trail.
We plan not to die along the trail as some of our ancestors did but if we go horizontal, please know that we love you all and have thought a lot about many of you as we have prepared. We love our family and cherish the time that we have with each of you.
We will post some pictures when we return.
Till we meet again,
"Cougar" and "Spike" (Mike and Alli - these are our TREK names)

We survived last year so I know you can too. I think the worst things was the stickers that stuck in my socks. I would stop and pull them out and after another step another one would come. Can you find steal socks? Good luck!!
haha that is so true....
this is allie
I just did our stakes pioneer trek last month. It is one of the neatest experiences ever! Good luck to all four of you!
Have so much fun guys! It sounds awesome. And I love that you get to take individual ancestors with you. What a great way to get to know your heritage!
