Stay Alive

Today Kristalyn and I and kind of Austin(he didn't get to run b/c he had work) did this Run For Life thing that is to help African children learn about AIDS so they can stay alive. It was a program where $1 saves one kid and as of 30 min ago we have helped save 16,400 children. The goal was 25,000.... But that still is a lot. So if you know anyone that would like to donate send them to stayalive.org

It was amazing! I just about died though...
We ran a mile-not that far, right?-but I haven't run that far for at least 2 years and I am so out of shape! I seriously started getting side cramps  after one lap (we did 7 laps to make it a mile). SO NOT COOL!!! But what WAS cool is that after the run there was a fire truck that sprayed us down in the park. It felt so good!!!
Kristalyn - that runner she is - got second out of the girls in the 18 and up age group! she's AMAZING!!!!  So...that's my cool story of the day!
